This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines that govern the use of Hostraha's services, including but not limited to web hosting, domain registration, VPS hosting, dedicated servers, and other related services. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy.
General Conduct
You agree not to use our services to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or ordinances
- Infringe upon the legal rights of others, including intellectual property rights
- Engage in activities that are harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
- Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt our services or servers or networks connected to our services
- Circumvent user authentication or security of any host, network, or account
Content Restrictions
You agree not to store, distribute, or transmit any content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Facilitates illegal activity
- Depicts sexually explicit images
- Promotes illegal violence
- Is discriminatory based on race, gender, color, religious belief, sexual orientation, disability, or any other legally protected category
- Infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights
- Contains malware, viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of our services or others' computers
System and Network Security
Violations of system or network security are prohibited and may result in civil or criminal liability. Examples of system or network security violations include, without limitation, the following:
- Unauthorized access to or use of data, systems, or networks, including any attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of a system or network
- Interference with service to any user, host, or network, including mail bombing, flooding, deliberate attempts to overload a system, and broadcast attacks
- Forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in an email or newsgroup posting
- Using our services to engage in denial of service (DoS) attacks, distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, or similar activities
Email and Communications
You agree not to use our services to send unsolicited mass emails (spam). This includes, but is not limited to:
- Sending unsolicited marketing messages or communications
- Sending messages to recipients who have opted out of receiving messages from you
- Using purchased or rented email lists for marketing purposes without proper consent
- Sending bulk emails through third-party services that fail to secure proper consent from recipients
- Sending emails with deceptive subject lines or falsified headers
Resource Usage
You agree not to use our services in a way that places excessive strain on our servers or other infrastructure. This includes:
- Using excessive CPU time, memory, or storage
- Running applications that are excessively memory-intensive or significantly impact the performance of our systems
- Running any type of web spider or indexer, without prior written authorization
- Using excessive bandwidth relative to your subscription plan
Shared hosting plans are subject to fair usage policies, and we reserve the right to limit resource usage as needed to maintain performance for all users.
African Regional Compliance
Users operating in African countries must also comply with all relevant regional laws, including but not limited to:
- Kenya Information and Communication Act
- Nigeria Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act
- South Africa Electronic Communications and Transactions Act
- Data protection laws applicable in your local jurisdiction
- Communications regulations in your country of operation
This includes any requirements related to content filtering, data localization, and encryption standards.
Enforcement
We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to investigate any violation of this AUP. We may, in our sole discretion:
- Suspend or terminate your access to our services
- Remove or disable access to content that violates this policy
- Take any other action we deem appropriate, including legal action
- Report violations to law enforcement authorities
Violations of this AUP may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your services without notice or refund.

Changes to This Policy
